Tickets booked online include a free WESTfixplatz seat reservation, if booked up to 3 hours before departure and subject to availability. Registered passengers can change the reserved seat free of charge up to 3 hours before departure.

You can bring up to four family children (under the age of 15) for only 2,- Euro* per journey and child in the Standard Class. Children under the age of 6 accompanied by a full-paying adult can travel free of charge in the Standard Class. Please note that no seat or reservation is included for the free ride. If a seat is required, please book a 2,- Euro family child ticket to obtain a dedicated seat.

A flexible ticket can be cancelled free of charge up to one day before the selected day of travel. WESTsuperpreis tickets can be cancelled up to one day before the selected day of travel for a fee of 25% of the ticket price (minimum €4.99).

Our modern fleet includes spacious leather seats, each with a 230V power socket, free Wi-Fi throughout the train, air conditioning, luggage racks, gender-separated toilets, four WESTcafés per train (with coffee, cold drinks and snack vending machines) and three comfort classes.
