Great savings
With our DeutschlandPlusTicket, we offer all holders of a valid and personalised Deutschland-Ticket a particularly low fare for journeys to and from Germany as well as to and from Salzburg*. For example, a ticket from Munich to Salzburg costs just € 9.90, to Linz € 39.90 or to Vienna € 59.90.
You are traveling with your children? Children under the age of 6 travel free of charge on the WESTbahn. For children under 15, you pay just 2 Euro per child per journey. Turn your family trips into a bargain!
With our WESTfixplatz, all passengers in our Standard Class automatically receive a free reserved seat for the journey when booking online (subject to availability). You can cancel your DeutschlandPlusTicket free of charge up to one day before the selected day of travel.
WESTbahn – the comfortable alternative
The entire WESTbahn fleet consists of low-floor trains with step-free access and extra-wide entrance doors. This allows you to reach your seat comfortably and barrier-free.
Tip: Our trains are usually ready for boarding at the respective departure stations up to 30 minutes before departure - so you can take your seat without stress before departure.

Our state-of-the-art double-decker fleet offers our passengers plenty of comfort: comfortable and spacious leather seats, power sockets throughout the train, free Wi-Fi, gender-segregated restrooms, four WESTcafés per train (with coffee, cold drink and snack vending machines) and three comfort classes. You can also enjoy the beautiful view from the upper deck of our train!
