Due to track renewal work by ÖBB Infra, no rail services between Ötztal and Bludenz will be possible from 25.04. to 26.04.2026 and a free rail replacement service with buses will be provided by Westbahn.
General regulations for the Westbahn rail replacement service
- Your Westbahn ticket or reservation automatically includes a free reservation for carriage on the bus replacement service for your selected connection.
- ÖBB and DB tickets do not entitle passengers to travel on Westbahn rail replacement bus services.
- A separate reservation for the bus must also be made for all accompanying children under 6 years of age. Strollers must be folded and stowed in the luggage compartment of the bus. It is not possible to take them along in the passenger compartment.
- Passengers in wheelchairs unfortunately cannot be taken on the bus. For further questions, please contact our Customer Service Team.
- Due to the limited space available, bicycles can only be transported with a prior online bike space reservation.
- Dogs, with the exception of assistance and therapy dogs in accordance with § 39a BBG, are not permitted on the rail replacement service.
