In addition to our destinations in Tirol and Vorarlberg, our route extension now also includes 7 new stations in the Salzburger alps.
The following ski areas are now particularly easy to reach with WESTbahn: Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser (via Wörgl station), all ski areas in the Zillertal via Jenbach, Nordkette-Seegrube, Patscherkofel and Schlick 2000 (all directly accessible via Innsbruck), Hoch-Imst and Hochzeiger family ski area (Imst-Pitztal), Venet (Landeck-Zams) and of course St. Anton am Arlberg with its world-famous ski area – Austria's largest interconnected ski area and a dream for all winter sports enthusiasts among us.
In Vorarlberg you can easily reach the Sonnenkopf ski area (Langen am Arlberg), the Brandnertal ski area (Bludenz), the Laterns ski area (Rankweil) and the Bödele ski lifts (Dornbirn).

Each WESTbahn train has a total of 12 ski racks for easy stowage. Passengers with snowboards can put these in the luggage racks above the seats or in one of our luggage racks on the lower decks.
