Taking your e-scooter on the train
What you need to know
You can transport your e-scooter on any WESTbahn train. Here we explain the procedure for taking your electric scooter with you on our trains.
Bringing your e-scooter on board
E-scooters are transported free of charge on WESTbahn trains. However, please note the following.
E-scooter transport on the WESTbahn
Your e-scooter needs to be folded up and stowed away properly. Other passengers must not be hindered or endangered. We have explained two options in more detail below.
If the e-scooter cannot be folded up, it must be parked in the bicycle parking spaces. Please note that charges apply for bicycle parking spaces.
Please note that charging an e-scooter on our trains is prohibited at all times.
Stow underneath the seat
For your convenience, we offer you the option of stowing your e-scooter underneath your seat. This allows easy access to your scooter during the journey and minimizes disturbance to other passengers.
This option also ensures proper storage of your scooter so that you can relax during your journey. This keeps your journey pleasant and stress-free.
Stow in the luggage rack
Another option is to place your e-scooter securely in the lower section of the luggage rack.
This ensures proper and safe storage during the journey and allows you to keep the space around your seat free.
