Park&Ride using your Westbahn ticket

Your Westbahn ticket entitles you to reduced parking fees or even free parking in selected car parks. Safely park your car at a partnered Park&Ride garage and hop on our train to take you to your destination relaxed and stress-free.

Below we have summarised all you need to know regarding parking with your Westbahn ticket.

Here how it works

If you book an online Westbahn ticket to or from St. Pölten, Amstetten, Wels, Attnang-Puchheim, Vöcklabruck, Hallein, Bischofshofen, Kufstein, Jenbach, Imst-Pitztal, Landeck-Zams or St. Anton am Arlberg, you will receive a Westbahn parking ticket for the relevant Park&Ride facility. You can download it directly after booking or access it here via the ticket details page up until the day it’s valid. If required, our crew on board can also issue a parking ticket.

Your Westbahn parking ticket entitles you to park  at the relevant P&R car park. Simply scan it at the exit terminal – when the light turns green, your ticket has been recognised.

Please note: The validity of your parking ticket corresponds to the validity of your train ticket. For the P&R facilities in Kufstein, Imst-Pitztal, Landeck-Zams and St. Anton am Arlberg, please display a copy of your Westbahn ticket clearly visible in your car.

How to save money with your Westbahn ticket

In St. Pölten, Amstetten, Wiener Neustadt, Hallein and Bischofshofen, parking is free for up to 5 days. From the 6th day onwards, it costs 3 euros per day.

At the P&R car parks in Wels, Attnang-Puchheim, Vöcklabruck and Jenbach, you pay 2 euros per day – the rate increases from the third day onwards.

Scan your Westbahn parking ticket at the exit pay station and pay directly at the machine using a debit or credit card, or pay online via pay.arivo.app up to 48 hours after you’ve left. If you have a Klimaticket Ö, simply scan the code at the exit pay station.
