Timetable & Travel Updates

Due to construction works by ÖBB Infra in Tyrol between Kufstein and Innsbruck, the following timetable changes will apply from 25.07. – 13.09.2026:

Vienna, Salzburg → Innsbruck, Bregenz:

All trains arrive in Innsbruck 13 minutes later. Arrival and departure times in Wörgl and Jenbach will be a few minutes later as scheduled.

Bregenz, Innsbruck → Salzburg, Vienna:

Later arrival and departure times will apply in Jenbach, Wörgl and Kufstein.

From August 10th until 14th the following timetable changes apply between Linz and Wels:

• Train 950 terminates in Linz Hbf, the stop in Wels is cancelled
• Train 957 starts from Linz Hbf, the stop in Wels is cancelled

Other services are not affected and are running as scheduled with scheduled stops in Wels.

Due to train shortages, the following changes apply between August 24th and 27th:

Vienna → Salzburg/Wels:

• Train 952 is cancelled between Vienna and Wels
• Train 926 is cancelled between Vienna and Salzburg 
• Train 950 terminates at Linz Hbf | Stop cancellation Wels

Salzburg/Wels → Vienna:

• Train 913 is cancelled between Salzburg and Vienna
• Train 991 is cancelled between Wels and Vienna
• Train 957 starts at Linz Hbf | Stop cancellation Wels

Due to timetable changes, the following updates will apply from September 7th to October 18th:

Vienna → Salzburg/Wels:

• Monday – Thursday: Train 926 will terminate at Wels. No service between Wels and Salzburg
• Monday – Thursday: Train 950 will terminate at Linz. No service between Linz and Wels

Salzburg/Wels → Vienna:

• Monday – Thursday: Train 957 will start from Linz. No service between Wels and Linz
• Tuesday – Friday: Train 909 will start from Wels. No service between Salzburg and Wels

Trains 958 and 997 will not run during this period.

Due to engineering works by ÖBB-Infra, the following timetable changes will apply from 21.10. –26.10.2026 on the section between Salzburg and Saalfelden:

Vienna, Salzburg → St. Johann, Zell am See, Saalfelden:

• Train 904 will be delayed up to 10 minutes
• Train 912 will be delayed up to 10 minutes
• Train 924 will be delayed up to 10 minutes from 21.10. – 23.10.2026
• Train 924 will terminate at St. Johann im Pongau on 24.10. + 25.10.2026

Saalfelden, Zell am See, St. Johann → Salzburg, Vienna:

• Train 907 will depart up to 10 minutes earlier from 21.10. – 24.10.2026
• Train 907 will start in St. Johann im Pongau on 25.10. + 26.10.2026
• Train 921 will depart up to 10 minutes earlier
• Train 929 will depart up to 10 minutes earlier

Due to a tunnel emergency exercise conducted by ÖBB-Infrastruktur AG, the following timetable changes will apply between Vienna and Villach on 21st of November 2026:

Vienna → Klagenfurt/Villach

Train 1001 will be diverted and will not stop at Graz and Kühnsdorf-Klopeiner See. This train will arrive in Klagenfurt, Pörtschach and Villach approximately 30 minutes later than scheduled.

Villach/Klagenfurt → Vienna

Train 1004 will operate 60 minutes later than scheduled, departing from Villach at 11:10 and arriving at Vienna Central Station at 14:47. All scheduled stops will be served.
