Our WESTbahn InterCity trains connect Vienna, St. Pölten, Amstetten, Linz, Wels, Attnang-Puchheim, Vöcklabruck and Salzburg every 30 minutes. In addition, you can travel directly with us to many destinations in the Austrian Alps: in Tyrol, for example, we stop in Innsbruck, St. Anton, Kufstein, Wörgl, Landeck amongst others. In the alpine region of Vorarlberg, we stop in Bregenz, Dornbirn, Hohenems, Bludenz, Feldkirch and many more. Since 2022, WESTbahn connects Vienna with the Bavarian capital of Munich (with an additional stop in Rosenheim). Find more information on our travel destinations page.

The WESTbahn Interrail / Eurail offer
Travellers with a valid Interrail or Eurail Global Pass including Austria and Germany are entitled to travel to any destination in our Standard Class.
Please note the following:
- A seat reservation is not included – you can book a seat reservation for a surcharge.
- The Interrail or Eurail First Class Pass does not apply to WESTbahn. Holders of these cards are entitled to use our Standard Class. To travel in our Comfort Class or First Class, please book an upgrade (surcharge applies).

We strive to offer our guests a welcoming and relaxing travel experience. Please do not hesitate to contact our crew on board for assistance or information. We would like you to feel at home on board of one of our trains.
Our modern double-decker fleet offers our passengers plenty of comfort: spacious leather seats each with its own 230V power socket, free Wi-Fi, gender-separated toilets, four WESTcafés per train (with coffee, cold drinks and snack vending machines) and three comfort classes.
