Due to bridge renovation work by ÖBB Infra in Innsbruck, the following timetable changes will apply between Jenbach and Innsbruck from Wednesday, 7 January 2026 to Thursday, 29 January 2026:
Direction Innsbruck / Bregenz
- Trains 970 and 976 will be diverted; journey times will be extended by approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
- Train 970 terminates in Bregenz; stops in Lindau Reutin and Lindau Insel are cancelled.
- Trains 972 and 974 terminate in Jenbach; the journey to Innsbruck continues with our free rail replacement bus service provided by Westbahn.
- Train 978 will be rerouted; arrival in Innsbruck will be delayed by approximately 30 minutes.
Direction Salzburg / Vienna
- Train 971 departs 16 minutes earlier from Innsbruck (6:10 a.m. instead of 6:26 a.m.).
- Train 973 departs between Bregenz and Innsbruck approximately 30 to 40 minutes earlier.
- The stops in Hohenems, Altach and Frastanz are cancelled.
- Trains 975 and 977 do not run as trains on the section between Innsbruck and Jenbach, but are replaced by a free rail replacement bus service provided by Westbahn; departure is 40 minutes earlier in each case.
- Train 979 departs from Bregenz and arrives in Innsbruck approximately 30 to 40 minutes earlier.
- The stops at Lindau Insel and Lindau Reutin are cancelled.
