Timetable restrictions
Construction work between Salzburg and Rosenheim
DB Netz's construction work near Rosenheim will have an impact on rail passengers, as on selected days around the weekends from March 4 until May 1 there will be the following restrictions:
- From Salzburg to Munich or back there will be fewer WESTbahn connections per day and direction than usual.
- From Salzburg to Innsbruck and back there will be a few trains as well as a substitute bus service for each cancelled train. Kufstein and Wörgl will not be served by the bus service. For space reasons, a free reservation for the buses is mandatory for all passengers with WESTbahn ticket or KlimaTicket Ö.
Train traffic on the Vienna - Salzburg section is not affected by the construction work.
